The new iPad 3 has four times more pixels than its predecessor, which means that no matter how much you zoom in, you will still get a clear picture. I’m not going to bore you with the numbers, but it has more pixels than a HDTV! It has a new,  A5X chip with quad-core graphics drives and despite this, it still has 10 hours of battery life.

Another amazing feature is the iSight camera, with has 5 megapixels and lets you take crystal clear photos or HD videos. In other words, whatever you are planning to do in life, the new iPad can make everything easier for you!

The iPad 3 is the most advanced tablet ever made by Apple. It has the technical capabilities of its predecessor many times over and it still is the most popular tablet to date. Believe it or not, I got one for free! That’s right and so could you, all you have to do is follow my instructions!

There’s no end to the things you can do with the iPad and this is possible thanks to the huge collection of applications which are at your disposal. Since it is the most popular gadget of its kind, you will need quite a lot of time until you browse through all of them, in order to find the ones you like.

The new iPad has a new, dual-core, A5X processor with quad-core graphics and it also has two cameras,  a 5 megapixel one at the front, called the iSight camera and a VGA one at the back, which is for video calls and it is very appropriately called the FaceTime camera.

The third generation of the iPad was released in eight countries on March 16, 2012.  When they started selling it, the device got mostly positive reviews, but soon a huge problem was discovered. Some users were stunned to find that the new, “ultrafast” 4G LTE simply wasn’t working in their country. The iPad

The iPad 3 is a very popular gadget and if you don’t believe me, just look at the numbers: they’ve sold three million units in the first three days of its release. Believe it or not, the same device for which people stood in line for hours or maybe days at a time can be yours for free! Free or not, it comes with the iOS, the world’s most advanced operating system. It has amazing features, it is very stable and it has a very user-friendly interface, which means that everyone can use it, from children to grandparents, or even pets (just check the internet for pets testing the iPad, you’ll see what I’m talking about)

As I’ve said, it is very easy to use, thanks to the simple Home screen and the innovative Multi-Touch interface.

It has hundreds of breath-taking features, like the newsstand, where you can keep all your subscriptions in one place, so you don’t have to waste any precious time looking for them. If you happen to be running low on reading material all you have to do is tap the Store button and you will be able to update your “shelves” in notime.

Messaging has never been so easy, thanks to iMessage, which will help you stay in touch with every iUser. You will know about every calendar invitation, friend request, missed message and a lot more with the help of the Notification Center. Safari will let you browse the Internet in a fast and safe manner and thanks to its pop-up blocker you will be able to read articles without all those annoying ads.

The new iPad has Twitter integration, which means that you can tweet directly from any main application. It also has autocomplete when writing a friend’s handle, in order to make things easier for you. And last, but not least, with the help of AirPlay Mirroring, you will be able to send stuff from your iPad to your TV screen via Apple TV and a wireless connection.

As I’ve said before, the new iPad was initially released on March 16, 2012 in eight countries, among which were the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Japan, Canada and Australia. On March 23 was released in many European countries, Macau and Mexico, on April 20 in countries including Malaysia and South Korea and on April 27 in nine more countries. Afterwards, in early May it was also released in 31 more countries.

The third generation iPad has four physical switches and this includes the Home Button, which is near the display and which can be used to help you return to the main menu. The other three switches are on the side: volume up & down, wake & sleep and one that is controlled by the software and whose function has changed thanks to software updates. The display of the iPad responds to two kinds of sensors: an ambient light sensor, which means that the screen brightness is automatically adjusted according to the surrounding light conditions and a 3-way accelerometer, which senses which way the tablet is pointed and moves the image accordingly. It is different from the iPod Touch and iPhone in the sense that in works not in three (portrait, landscape left and landscape right), but four orientations.(including upside down). During all of this, only the orientation of the Home button changes.

Versions of the iPad are manufactured either with or without the means of communicating through a cellular connection, but all of them have Wi-Fi. There are three storage capacity versions available: 16, 32 or 64 GB of flash memory with no means to expand. You may buy an optional  camera connection kit, which comes with an SD card reader, but it will only allow you to transfer photos and videos.

It is more advanced than the previous model and as a result of this it is thicker by 0.6 mm and weights more by 51 grams, as far as the Wi-Fi models are concerned. The 4G models of the iPad 3 are both 662 grams, but heavier than their predecessors by 49 grams for the AT&T model and 55 grams for the Verizon model.

Free iPadApple say that the battery can live through 10 hours of video, 140 hours of audio playback, or an entire month on standby. Unfortunately just like other rechargeable batteries, the iPad’s battery loses its capacity as time goes by. But unlike other batteries, let’s say, in a laptop or a mobile phone, the iPad’s batteries cannot be changed by the individual, due to the way the whole thing was built. If you find that your tablet can no longer hold a charge, you can send it to Apple and they will give you a completely new unit for the price of 99 USD plus shipping costs. But because of this, any data left on the old one will be lost.

When you get it for free and you will, trust me, your iPad can be accesorized. Perhaps the most important one of all is the Smart Cover, which was introduced with the iPad 2. It was designed to protect the screen by magnetically attaching it to the front side of the iPad. It can be folded in three different ways into a stand, which is held together by magnets. The first iPad could be protected if you bought a black case, which could be folded also, but the Smart Cover is meant to be more practical, because it is easier to take off every time you want to use your tablet. It is called a Smart Cover, because the part that goes on the screen is made from microfibers, which means that it has the capability to clean it and it will also “wake” the iPad up once you remove it.

If you don’t know how you could get your hands on the iPad without paying for it, allow me to tell you that there are a couple of ways at your disposal: you could fill out surveys, use the referral system, which means that you will have to complete offers and invite your friends to do the same, or you can become a tester for the company you want the product from. For example, if you want an iPad, you need to become a tester for Apple. It doesn’t matter what method you choose, as long as it pays off and you get the gadget you’ve always wanted!
